I will admit, I've taught this project before. Kids always love to draw sweets and it's also a quick way to teach simple depth and perspective. We learned about the artist Wayne Theibaud and drew a triple layer cake in his style. The kids picked bright paper and colored with oil pastels to make their cakes pop.
